TRANSCRIPT: I'm Dr. Ronald Davis, I'm an associate professor of Urology at Wake Forest Baptist Health. I specialize in urologic oncology. And I like to see patients with cancerous diseases of the prostate, kidney, and bladder. After completing residency in urology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 1987, I went into private urologic practice in Greensboro, North Carolina. I saw men, women, and children and practiced there for 24 years. I received a master’s in Business Administration from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in 2009 with a specialty in Health Care. I am most interested in the business of health care and think that understanding between those two communities is critical for the future of medicine in the United States. Philosophically, I believe in comprehensive care of the urologic patient. One of my original attractions to urology is that it is one of the few surgical fields that takes care of patients from birth through maturity through old age. I love research and I love teaching and Wake Forest has allowed me to be very active in both of these arenas. I've greatly enjoyed my tenure at Wake Forest and look forward to many fruitful years in the future.
